A network of public-data websites

Make sense of data from around the world.

26 independent sites that turn scattered public records into pages you can use. Explore energy infrastructure, trace who owns a brand, see how financial schemes work, or pick up a practical tool.

Sourcing principles

Where the numbers come from

Every site in the network follows the same rules, so a figure on any of them can be checked.

Read all the principles →
  1. Public data only

Every dataset comes from a public source: a government portal, an open API, a registry, a filing. Nothing is scraped from behind a login or a paywall.

  2. Every source attributed

Every number traces back to a named source with a link, shown on the site that uses it.

  3. Licences respected

A dataset's licence is checked and recorded before it is used. If the licence does not allow it, we do not use the data.

  4. Charts you can read without seeing them

Every chart ships with a plain-language summary and a data table, not just an image.

Who is behind it

One person, one way of building

Public data is everywhere and almost none of it is usable. It is published as quarterly PDFs, unindexed lists and once-a-year press releases, so a normal question takes real work to answer.

Simba Systems is built and run by one person. Every site is made the same way, on the same stack, because one pipeline that fetches, checks and publishes data reliably is worth more than ten sites that each half-work.
